Cozy - It's not going to look like this for long, however it is one of our favorite rooms in the house. We spend hours every day as a family snuggled near the fire, and the christmas tree, with beautiful views of the lake outside, playing board games, reading, kids playing video games or building lego castles, using the laptop, watching a video together, etc. The kids go outside almost everyday, and slide down the hill on the side of the house toward the lake. They say they love it up here. Taylor keeps saying he doesn't want us to change a thing with the house - he says it's perfect the way it is! What I have noticed is that in it's current state, Brandon doesn't stress out about any imperfections. It's to be expected - we bought the home "as-is". Once it's all remodeled, he can start freaking out about the little details again . . . until then, we are very happy in our new "old" home!
