As the long, cold winter finally turns to budding, buzzing afternoons on the lake, our home turns from a 1980's outdated, vacant second home . . . to a living, breathing, modern dream-home for our family. Not without patience and sacrifice though, (note the look of doubt and anxiety in Brandon's eyes) and me - living without a kitchen for 3 months!
A photo of our kitchen, gutted, and the whole lake-front wall getting torn out to open up sliding glass door views to the lake. In the mean time our make-shift kitchen consists of a microwave, toaster, and skillet. What more could you ask for?
The electrician and plumber tore into floors and walls, and sheetrock, etc. We may as well have started from the ground up! Well here's our kitchen 2 months ago. Can you see the smile on Brandon's face???
Shower Before and After:
Our Living Room: From the framework to fireplace install. Things are starting to come together . . . The wall is "quickrete" a concrete product that my brother, Taylor came to help us with. One of many cool concrete features in the home!

Stay tuned. . . we have to buy a new camera, because our little Taylor dropped our old camera down the stairs. We have made tremendous progress, and are excited to show you the improvements! Cabinets and hardwood floors are already going in to our kitchen. The master bath is Fabulous with the new jetted tub, jetted shower and fireplace. We can hardly wait to show you more.
